Ira Glass praises Radio Foundation
Ira Glass praises Radio Foundation studio in conversation with Alec Baldwin on WNYC’s Brian Lehrer show:
The RadioArt® Studio was designed from the ground up for voice: studio interviews (ISDN or tape sync), and narration for film, video, audio books and voice over demos.
Our floating room, Neumann mics and the latest Mackie preamps, produce a rich, present sound. We use ProTools to record, edit and mix. Two Telos ISDN codecs and two Telos 1 telephone hybrids, plus Skype audio and video, allow us to connect up to four studio guests with up to four outside sources in each session.
We are experts in restoration of old recordings of reel-to-reel, LP, cassettes and even wire. We can bake old reel-to-reel tapes, remove noise, crackle, hiss and master them onto CD or digital files.
